A basic apartment in Windhoek
The apartment is located near to good local restaurants. It is located at the back for the Hotel near the road but is very quiet. I could not help feeling that this apartment is the "ugly ducking" at The Olive. Reason for this opinion is: 1. the lounge dining are is huge with a 2-seater couch and 1 chair, a 4-seater plastic dinning room suit and a 32' TV which looks very small on the wall. there is damp on the back wall of the dining area 2. the built in cupboards in the kitchen and rooms had shelves missing or not fitted. 3. the bathroom had a small shower and a regular sized bath with a chip in it. 4. the products provided in the bathroom were a mismatch of 2 brands all 1/2 full and consisted of 2 shampoo's, 1 conditioner, 2 hands soaps and a cream, no body wash. The bathroom shows signs of this space being a permanent residence in the past - outlets for a washing machine, many holes on the tiles. 5. the kitchen was basic, however a nespresso and coffee pods were provided. 6. the duvet cover in the main room was unfastened and the floor mats looked like they needed a clean. 7. the curtains were too short and several had missing hooks. 8. the umbrella outside was dirty and looked in need of repair
