The Historic Center of Strasbourg is located in the heart of the city on the island of Grande Ile. This neighborhood’s UNESCO-listed streets are accessible by bridges on all sides, and it has the picturesque square of Place Kleber, with the celebrated Aubette building, at its heart.
Just as charming during the day as in the lantern-lit evenings, the Historic Center’s twisting lanes house any number of picture-worthy attractions. The most iconic of these is the stunning Cathedral of Our Lady, though many other notable buildings and centuries-old churches are dotted around the length and breadth of the tiny island.

The hotel is in the center of town, just down the street from Galleries Lafayette, closer to the train station. We walked from the train station and then walked to the cathedral, to Petite France and to Au Pain de mon Grand Pere, our favorite bakery.

This is a great hotel for visiting the Christmas markets and is only a short walk from the train station. The decor is funky and modern which we liked. The room had comfortable beds with good pillows and pristine white bed linen and an excellent bathroom with Fragonard toiletries. Everything was very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided as well as complimentary water and soft drinks in the mini bar. The hotel has a small but perfectly functional gym which we used each day. Check in and check out was quick and the reception staff very nice to deal with. The hotel has an excellent luggage room with lockers for luggage for this arriving early or leaving later in the day. Highly recommended!

Hotel was walkable to everything and surprisingly large for a european hotel in the city center. Breakfast was included and was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a lovely location in in the city center, just minutes from the cathedral. The hotel is very modern, upbeat and the decor is super cool. The breakfast buffet was well appointed on the first day, with lots of options. The second day it wasn’t great. The staff made no attempt to refresh the buffet and I was disappointed. The parking situation needs to be updated on the website! I was expecting on-site self parking, but when I arrived I was told there are only 5 parking spaces at the hotel and I would need to find a parking garage. Definitely not what I had planned. Driving in the city is difficult and it took us an hour to find the suggested parking garage. Hotel staff did give us a voucher, which reduced the cost of parking from 104€ to 37€ The hotel advertised a bar, but it was closed when tried to order a drink. I guess this was about 10 in the evening… disappointing Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but if I go back to Strausburg, I wouldn’t stay at this particular property again.
