Ark inn
I had to extend my stay 3 days and wanted it at the smae rate they refused - ANd charged me 30% more for the one night but had to trouble myslef to move anyway because I could deal, with extortionate rate BTW_ I paid 500 $ for extras and entertaining my local people - -breakfast is far too expensive for what they deliver - I am a small business where cost is extremely watchful- Although I do have 50 engineers - runninig around africa and have banned them now from using the Park inn- They will survive - Im a small fish in the pond aqnd will make no difference - But there is plenty of very good hotels for half the price in Nairobi

Nice hotel
The service was excellent, from the reception, room service to housekeeping. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet and relaxing.

Enjoy Nairobi from here!
It is in a great location with ample parking available, convenient on and off of waiyaki way in westlands, Nairobi. The neighborhood is very safe with lots of restaurants around particularly if one is driving. I don't know about how it would be if you had to walk late at night in or out of the hotel - but I'm sure that using uber or taxify is very safe for one coming or going in the middle of the night. We found the room to be very luxurious, large and comfortable. The TV was incredible with fantastic stations. Coming from Europe where there were no English stations, I really enjoyed being back in the land where DSTV is part of the package deal. South Africa's satellite channels through DSTV are the best in the world. The shower and bathroom was extremely high quality. The bed is top class and very comfortable. The hotel has a very new feel to it and we loved the easy check in - check - out friendliness. We arrived very late (after midnight) but the staff were alert and able to meet our requests. We did not stay for breakfast the next morning so can not comment on the restaurant but i am very certain that it would have had the same quality. We did ask and they wanted quite a large ($22) amount to have the breakfast which is too high for us. The hotel has very strict security which checks your vehicle in and out. All of your bags go through screenings and past security guards - so the hotel feels a lot like a modern airport. It is a very safe location. love it.

New and Loud in Westlands
The hotel was very new and in good condition. My only issue was the walls are very thin and I had some loud people staying next to me.

Good 6,0
It is a brand new hotel in Westlands, and still very clean and maintained. The rooms are comfortable, although, the queen size bed is really two smaller mattresses put together with a sheet over them, so not really a large bed. Bathrooms are new and have a good shower, although on a small side. Two restaurants, on on the top floor and one at the ground level. Staff friendly, and views from the top a plus. The food is mediocre at best, at both places (steak overcooked, roast chicken dry and old, salad tasty), but there is good coffee, including espresso. The hotel is right on crazy-busy Waiyaki Way, and there is a matatu stop smack in front of the hotel, which can color to any experience. It also prevents you from really walking to any other place - so you have to take taxis. That's a shame, as a few good restaurants are literally across this crazy road. Hotel has a modest gym, and a small swimming pool up top. Wifi pretty strong, in most areas. Overall, not a bad place, and here is hoping it stays maintained!
