Very cool hotel. The main hotel with the bar and restaurant has the older rooms with some history. However these are the no frill rooms so if you prefer a more updated room you should ask for a room in the building that used to be the old gift shop. Very friendly staff and an amazing bar.

This is a very old inn that has done a great job of preserving history. The staff are very helpful. If you’re looking to stay in a place with history, this is your spot. We ate at the restaurant, which was very good. Ended the night at the bourbon bar where we ended up talking to the nicest lady who eventually revealed herself to be an owner. Great location. Walking distance to shopping, dining, and bars. The self guided audio tour of the inn is a must do. Highly recommend!

    Great Historic Inn

This was our third stay at the Talbott Inn. We love everything about the place. It's history, the uniqueness of the accommodations, and the friendly staff. The restaurant has a good selection on it's menu and everything that tried was done very well. A big plus is the large selection of bourbons that are available. A good place to try something new. We will return.

Our experience was great. Everything was clean and in order. We had never been there before but would certainly stay there again when feasible.

I liked that the hotel had a tavern attached and we didn’t have to go out and find a place to eat. I also liked that they had a cooked breakfast

    A great historic location.

About the best location in Bardstown, adjacent to the square and walking distance to all the shops and downtown dining. The room was really nice, the only issues were with the bed. the middle was somewhat caved in so you sink toward the middle and the sheets were not very soft and had a slight bleachy aroma.
