Likes: Location, staff (especially cafe staff, Dale very helpful local guide), room size (had a 1 bedroom), bed very comfortable. Dislikes: Had to change room due to TV not working properly, phone broken and no way to turn off blue light at back of bed (bizarre). Pillows really bad if you don't like super soft with zero support. It's a minimal staff / service place so don't expect hotel levels of service. Also gym / pool still closed due to covid.

The toiletries were not new, they were all old bottles so I didn’t use them. Nespresso machine which was great - but nothing to put in it. Quaint room, great views and usual king made from two singles

My daughter and I got upgraded to a two bedroom apartment with a park view! Absolutely amazing view. Staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us. Would have no hesitation in staying here on my next Melbourne visit!

The location is magnificent. Very helpful to be located so near the Flagstaff train station and the trams on William Street. The hotel staff were very nice as well. The room configuration wasted a lot of space that could have been used for suitcase storage. Also, one of the cabinets would not open, so you had to pull out the murphy bed to get your fingers to a position that you could open the door. We also found housekeeping to be not so thorough. The room decoration with the Jazz theme was unique and very good.
