Wonderful as usual
Customer service excellent, very attentive. We have stayed at the Black Horse before so knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed. Room was lovely, great shower, great bed, the building is old so creaky floors and not super thick walls are to be expected. Bar meal (with the dog) was excellent as was breakfast the next day. Have no hesitation in revisiting or recommending.

Theres a holiday inn 2 mins away
The hotel has a carpark but its small. When standing outside you get to play a game of guess the entrance, youve got 3 doors & no signs. The room was ok but small. Rooms do not have premium tv channel's they have freeview. The tv is about the size of a tablet fixed to the wall (kind of)

our room was off a courtyard and was up some quite narrow steep stairs, but this was not a problem for us.The Blue room was nicely decorated. Local friends joined us for a lovely cooked breakfast and were made welcome. We had stayed there in the past, en-route on our journey to Scotland.
