You get what you pay for!
We booked this hotel because we had an early morning train ride from termini station. It was right across the street from the station which was convenient but that's the only plus about this hotel. The rooms were really weird looking - kind of like a dungeon and a dorm room combined. The whole place smells like mildew. The bed was hard as a rock and the whole place just felt like it had a layer of grime on everything. Cheap room but not worth it.

Surprising
The room itself was spacious but the bathroom was small. When we first entered the main building it looked dirty and rundown. Then we went upstairs to the reception and we were pleasantly surprised. It's central and right next to the train station. Lots of restaurants and shops around and easy to find the main attractions. Breakfast (across the road), consisted of a croissant and hot drink.

Hotel Agora stay
This hotel was very basic. We just stayed one night before heading back home and we were looking for something reasonably priced. There were 4 of us staying in a room for 2 - so it was very cramped. It would not be my hotel of choice for staying a longer period of time. But it was clean and pretty comfortable and it was VERY close to the train station.

Perfect quirky hotel!
Hotel agora was faultless! The staff were super friendly and on arrival offered us a map and circled popular tourist spots- she also explained how the local metro service worked and gave us some suggestions on where was best to eat that night. The room was small but had everything you need including personal wifi- it's also very quirky which has made it hard to forget. The location is perfect so central to everything and being close to the trains and metros allow for you to travel around Rome easily. On my next visit to Rome I will defiantly be choosing agora!

Good value.
Exactly what you could expect for a budget hotel across form the Rome Central Station or Roma Termini. The outside is old but the room are newly renovated, small but comfy, very quiet at night and the double security door makes you feel at ease. Perfect for a short stay in the Eternal City.
