The price was great and the double booking made by the owner/manager corrected by giving us a bigger unit at no extra cost. (we booked online the previous night but he had not seen this until we came to check in, and allowed someone else the unit that day)This unit was very clean but generally not that well set up - eg bedside lamps were there, but no power point within reach to plug them in! Bathroom facilities adequate but minimal. Main problem was the wifi - paid $5 extra for this only to find it was not only an insecure site (so no banking!) but also incredibly weak and kept dropping out. This may have been because the unit was too far from the origin of the signal, but we were not warned of this. We did not complain or try to get a resolution as we only stayed one night and came back late in the evening.

It is very run down. The pool needed attention all the time and got no attention. Not sure there was a working pump so really wasn’t up to swim standard. Had to ask for fresh towels & toilet paper every couple of days. Very disappointing considering they should be in best show to kiwis getting out & travelling in their own country. Not sure how this place can use “eco” in their name.
