We understand from staff that the Hotel has been in new ownership for 5 weeks. Some refurbishing needs to be done but it was convenient, clean and serviceable.

OK but not exceptional.
All the staff I spoke to were pleasant, but I had to ask about breakfast times and for the Wi-Fi code. Most places provide this sort of detail in an information pack in the bedroom. The hotel was fine, but nothing about it was exceptional. Breakfast was Ok. I didn’t try the evening dining service.

Great Breakfast
I booked the Seaview however on arrival I was placed in a B&B across the road, not what I booked. The heating didn’t work properly, when I asked about it I was very quickly given a new room. Having moved to a new room I tried to make tea. The kettle did not work. I left a note asking for a replacement kettle. I arrived back to my room completely untouched, towels not changed the note re the kettle still where I left it. I had to go back across to the hotel to request a working kettle. Great location perfect for what I needed. The staff were lovely and helpful but more attention to detail would help.
