    Quiet and convenient

At least the cockroach was dead and we didn’t find any more. The porch furniture fell apart. There were old pieces of furniture on the walkways to the room. It was quiet enough to sleep and close enough to town to walk to shops and restaurants.

    Give this place a try

This is a budget friendly motel run by a very nice family. Cons— The rooms have a ton of mismatched furniture in them, which is a little off putting. There are no amenities like a pool or gym. There are no indoor hallways- an actual roadside motel. The key is an actual key and plastic fob Pros- Extremely clean. Excellent wifi. Towels are new and fluffy- the kind that one would expect in more upscale hotels. The bath products are pretty nice! The bed— I had a king— was amazingly comfortable. The TV was new and there were a variety of cable shows. There seemed to be new A/C units for each room which were quiet and efficient. Overall it seems like the owners of this hotel spent some time during covid to make some affordable and meaningful upgrades.

    Beware of the rating!

I’m not sure how this motel received 8 out of 10. The room was very outdated and smelled badly. Since we had already paid and it was late we stuck it out. The only positive was the bed. Very comfortable.

The manager was welcoming and gave a free room upgrade. Covid precautions included a newly installed room ventilating system - impressive and quiet. Unfortunately the restaurant had been closed.

This motel is in decent shape for its age. The owners have tried to update but it’s just old. Everything was clean and the location good. A Denny’s across the street. But they picture a pool and there is no pool here. Also the restaurant on the property is not open at all due to “pandemic” but is not listed as open on google and yelp. Overall the motel is good value and a decent place to stay. The couple that were in the office were very nice and the place was quiet.

    Self-Care Get-A-Way

Our get-a-way was much needed. My family and I really enjoyed our trip. As for my wife and I, we enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The elder couple who ran it was very welcoming and supportive by assisting us on different places to eat. Very Friendly!!! Over all, the stay was good, well rested which lead us to having an adventurous day at the Catwalk. AWESOME!!!
