Charming with oustanding views
An outstanding location with a view over the greater Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. My room had a balcony, where I loved just sitting with a cup of tea and enjoying the view. The room itself was very comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit dated (the shower took a while to warm up and was a little hard to get the best temperature). The hosts were very accommodating and made every effort to ensure my comfort.

Made to pay twice
This was supposed to be my free night redemption on hotels.com. Hotels.com confirmed this and I paid the difference to hotels.com. They confirmed it was paid in full. When I got to to hotel they said it was only reserved and not paid. I showed them the confirmation that it was paid in full by hotels.com. They said it was not and made me pay in full to the hotel. I had no choice as it was now getting late and the hotel was in a remote part of Capetown. I certainly was not impressed.
