Great budget hotel
For a budget hotel, this is a hard place to not like. Max is great, the rooms are fine, the riff raff aren't allowed in and the price is right. The only "complaint" is that the bathrooms don't have towels dry your hands off with, so make sure you take one from your room with you. Location is OK. It's a tough town to begin with and the added pot shops don't help. But Max insists that there's no smoking in the building. Unfortunately, the stench of it clings to clothes and still stinks up the rooms a little bit, but it's the same in all hotels in pot haven.

WHAT I ENJOYED THE MOST ABOUT MY STAY AT THE INGRA HOUSE WAS HOW CLEAN THE FACILITY WAS KEPT & HOW OFTEN THE MAID SERVICE KEPT THE BATH ROOMS "SPOTLESS"AT ALL TIMES. LOW RATES, CLEAN HOTEL, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, THAT'S A WIN WIN, THANK YOU.

Value for Money
Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. As long as you don't mind the bathroom/shower being down the corridor, a great place to stay in Anchorage. Just a mile from Airport Bus Stop.

The staff was great - but booked based on previous guests and they rated it too high! Didn't think to check to see if 'shared bath' - after all, this was Alaska/USA and not Europe! I would not recommend!

Interesting setup for the person that doesn’t need Everything at their fingertips. European style similar to a military barracks that will feel familiar to Ex military. Good value for the budget minded traveler. Max and the staff were friendly, helpful and on top of the guidelines.
