Isolated bikers retreat.
It's a long way down the dirt track to Tonteldoos, the bar is a bikers haven with a small collection of classic bikes. Location is really isolated and pretty, goats and peaches all around. House was far bigger than we needed and a kind of 1980s throwback, Eight of us rattled around in it. Host very friendly, highly recommended if you like this sort of thing. We were random tourists in a low clearance hire car, so the last 20 km was slow!

Good, affordable fun!!
We were well received and the stay was most enjoyable. It is not The Ritz but it is comfortable and clean. The dam was a hit and we even managed to catch a few decent sized trout is less than good conditions. It was very cold and the firewood was enough to last us all weekend! thank you Peter, you are the perfect host and we wish we could spend more time with you at the pup! Next time! Thank you too for the kind assistance with our stuff that was left behind. We owe you one!!

A lovely break.
Lovely stay, owner and staff very hospitable. Accomodation is basic, but comfortable and clean. Will be back again. The area is lovely, Tondeldoos is a quaint little village. Dullstroon is 20 km away, on a sand road. The facility is pet friendly, we plan to return with our dogs.

Just great!
Peter is the most friendly and down to earth host. An atmospheric bar, lots of farm animals around you and just a great spot to be. Just drive carefully with your sedan on the dirt road and no problem getting there. We had a great time!
