Our family of 4 found this to be the perfect place to stay. Reasonable price, 3 blocks to the Santa Monica Pier/beach, tons of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Metro is right across the street. Hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms were very nice. Free breakfast was so convenient with the standard fare - waffle machine, eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes, various cereals, oatmeal, pastries and breads/bagels for toasting. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful hotel near the Pier in Santa Monica. The lobby was very well laid out and inviting. The doors are always locked so only registered guests can get in . The king room was clean and spacious and the hotel is conveniently located close to Venice Beach. The only unexpected thing was that we could hear the occupants on the floor above us. Their foot steps sounded quite heavy and it also sounded like they were dragging furniture across the floor until at least 3am, so it was hard to sleep that night.
