Small rooms but still a great space!!!
I was great but the photographer must have been amazing because the room was small. But out side if that everything was perfect!

nice staycation
It was beautiful and the staff was very welcoming. The shower was a little dirty and the tv only has three channels. Great views and very comfortable bed.

Great location. Really nice room. Unfortunately, when we went, it was during Phase 2 of the DC reopening. The pool, bar and food service was completely shut down. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the wharf and the water. I had contact with three employees 1 out of 3 were friendly. The other two were not very nice or helpful. I felt like I was bothering them when I needed assistance.

Overall-good.
The hotel was beautiful as well as the room and location. Parking was not clearly communicated by front desk staff after speakign to 3 different persons. You need to park in section E and take the elevators directly to the hotel. Also, the air conditioner was not working well. Considering it was 97 degrees, i would have liked to have my room cool and be able to control the temperature. We reported it to the front desk, but could not tell any difference after it was serviced.

Staycation
Hyatt house was a very nice hotel. We just didn’t to experience anything due to COVID-19. No fault of the hotel at all. The room was on the 9th Floor facing the street, which had a great view of the city with the capital building as a background. Checkin was flawless, incidentals were $75. Service was good. Parking was $38 for 24 hours. Again nice hotel very secure in the Wharf District.

Hyatt House Wharf DC
The hotel is very well located, it is quiet, very clean and the front desk service people very very helpful and friendly. There are many restaurants around, a CVS, you can go kayaking/paddle boarding right in front of the hotel, or just go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful views and restaurants/fish market. I would highly recommend this hotel, as you can stay in a quiet but full of life area of DC and be close to all the touristy sites within 10-15 minutes. The only issue I had with our room was how small it was. I wanted a river view and it was great, but the size of the room was quite small . It was only my daughter and I, may be for one person it would have worked better. I would definitely stay there again.
