Beautiful guest house. Secluded, would be wonderful for quiet get away. Beautiful garden. Nice touches like daily fruit dish. No phone provided in room. Must have own cell phone. Need personal transportation. Not a walkable area. Uber can be good option here and through out Jo'burg.

Location is fine, since you can get an uber anywhere. The guest house was basic, nothing spactcular about the location or staff. Stayed in the presidential suite nice large room, but like the rest of the property everything is completely dated. I felt like I was in 1984😞😞 for the price I expect a better experience. Breakfast was good and the staff was vary accomendating regarding my food choices

Doveton Housre ist ein wundervoller Platz um in Johannesburg zu übernachten und zu bleiben. Es ist wie ein komfortables Hotel nur in klein. Traumhaft angelegt mit Garten und Pool und es ist alles vorhanden was man sich wünscht. Das Frühstück war perfekt und Sylvia eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen wenn wir in Joburg sind.
