Comfy, clean with limited check in time
The house itself has old fashioned charm and is located on Main Street, a very convenient location for walking in town. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and was served in our room, at our request. The bed was only a double but comfortable and my friend had to sleep on a pull out sofa bed. Our bathroom was not integral but in a room next door. It had an old high back tub and a shower . I loved the tub. The only problem we had was with the check in time. The check in time is 3 pm to 6 pm, which is not convenient for everyone. We had to prepare for a wedding rehearsal so time was of the essence but we could not get in before 3 pm. There is a sign on the door which states that you can call a number and Dawn would be right there. I called the number and got an answering machine but no Dawn. She apparently didn't get the message because we sat on the front porch for an hour, a lovely experience, before calling again at 3 pm. This time we got a live person who did immediately open the door. She claimed that she did not get the first message and didn't know we were there. I had also rung the door bell, but that probably didn't work either. After a bad start and lack of a proper reception, the rest of the visit was fine. I would recommend this B and B for charm and cleanliness, but only if you can work with the limited check in hours.

A quaint, lovely B&B in an equally quaint town, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians. Dawn, our hostess, was cheerful and pleasant and a great breakfast cook. Ligonier features excellent shopping within walking distance and a famous market on Saturday mornings. The Pennsyvania scenery is hard to beat. A great experience.

Great option in downtown Ligonier
This is a better option than the Ramada because you get more room. I stayed on the third floor and there were two rooms and 1.5 baths. I thought it was a great value and Dawn was very nice. Stayed here for a wedding and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

Great getaway spot
Very comfortable accommodations with exceptional hospitality. Nice town to walk to everything and great food options. Want to go back and try more of the restaurants, Dawn goes to great lengths to make your stay special.
