Lovely guest house with beautiful bright rooms in a family-run establishment. The breakfast was the highlight - it was excellent, many fruits, juices, coffee, and eggs. Jorge, the manager, who lives upstairs with his family, was a courteous and helpful host. The room was excellent. My feedback to Hotels.com would be to make it clearer which rooms have an attached bathroom and which don’t because this wasn’t clear to us from reading the summary. But, it was a one night stay and we didn’t mind sharing a bathroom given how nice the room and breakfast were. I took a quick look at some of the other rooms as we were finishing up breakfast — some others have attached bathrooms and are just as nice as our room! We would stay here again and probably pay a little more for a room with an attached bathroom.

It was such a pleasant stay for the first day in Peru. Jorge made me tea after a long day which was unforgettably nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, water pressure is very good. Breakfast was tasty with lots of fruits. I also stayed in the same room after visiting Machu Picchu. He offered me to keep the language which was very nice. Closed to ruins, but also a good area to see local life. $2 to the train station to Machu Picchu. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! tion to Machu picchu. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I arrived and there were two kids at the counter, very sweet but couldn’t speak Spanish. I gave them my info but they couldn’t find the reservation. They called a man (their father?) and I guess he told them to give me room 4. The description on my booking was incorrect, on Hotels.com it said room had waterfall shower with bathtub (I really wanted to soak in a tub and I paid a lot extra to have that). They didn’t have that room available so I got the next one down with just a small bathroom (nothing special). No refund for the mistake or downsized room was offered. It was a small room but nice and it had lovely views, but it didn’t have anything in the rooms, no amenities at all. I had to ask for a shower mat and a water glass. The shower was hot so that was good. The bed was big and comfortable. In the morning I had to leave early and so did a few others so their was a really nice breakfast waiting for us. Overall it wasn’t a great experience, I’m not sure I’d recommend this hotel. It bothers me when they give you a room that is different than what you booked hoping you won’t notice. It’s a con.

Sweet little place in historic area near central plaza. We were allowed to keep our large luggage there while visiting Machu Picchu.

It is well located of course, as the town itself is tiny, you can walk anywhere.Check-in wasn't as smooth as we hoped for, the front desk girl said we didn't have a reservation, even though I was showing her an email confirmation. After resolved, she insisted that we couldn't check-in until 3pm, when the website confirms you can check-in at 11am. When asked for some change for the taxi driver, she said she couldn't help. I just recommend the staff to be more polite and accommodating. Be aware of staff not being 24-7 there, in case you want to leave your bags, you may not be able to get them when needed. Rooms are pretty tight and close to each other, there's no tv's in them, but the view is nice. Our bathroom had NO hot nor warm water, which was disappointing since we paid extra for our own bathroom.

We had a nice and comfortable stay at Parwa. Our host was helpful and made us feel welcome. We were allowed to store our luggage at the property while visiting Macchu Pichu. On our return we stayed another night and picked up our luggage. Parwa was conveniently located close to the town center.

Firstly this is a great location near the plaza and train station. Breakfast is prepared daily and consist of fruit, breads, juice, coffee and eggs which starts your day off wonderfully. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Only negative for us was that when we came home in the evening after 6p from hiking all day the house ran out of water which meant no showers after a long day. This happened 2 out of the 3 days we were there and was very frustrating. Jorge mentioned this wasn't the norm and by morning the water would be restored.

Best place we stayed for the entire trip in Peru. Jorge was very helpful. He offered let us store our luggage for free while we were traveling to Aguas Caliente and Machu Picchu. The place the very conveniently located and beautifully decorated. It is super clean and charming. We were going to stay in a different hotel at Ollantaytambo on the way back, we ended up going back to Parwa Guest house since we liked it so much and we really trusted Jorge. It was an overall very positive experience. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

The hotel was in good location, service was excellent and the room was clean, only problem is that the room was to bright, there was a window without curtains and it was crear early in the morning.
