We just got married that day! We shared that in the notes of our reservation. The hotel had Champaign and chocolates waiting for us in the room! It was completely unexpected and complimentary! Everything was wonderful. Front desk was very accommodating. Room was better than expected. We were surprised to find the room was a studio type room. Beautiful lobby and fireplace in back was very romantic. Will definately be staying again.

The Lodge is very cozy, from the exterior to the lobby to the beds. We only stayed one night on our way somewhere, but would have been happy to vacation there. Seemed very clean. There were not only personalized notes, but the front desk staff and owner himself were tracking our arrival and needs to make sure we were all right.

Clean hotel room with friendly staff! Loved that our dog was also welcomed. Great spot for nearby hiking and Asheville. Plan to stay again. Breakfast was grab and go which was convenient.

The Lodge at Flat Rock is a very welcoming Hotel, if you are looking for amazing customer service look no further. The place is a little dated but it has a very warm & welcoming atmosphere. It was a very comfortable room for our family. The only thing we weren’t too happy about were the beds. They are quite small, and probably need to be updated as our were very lumpy.
