Lovely place to stay!
Lovely location with great service from the staff and a comfortable room. Bed was soft and surrounded by mosquito netting. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, finding me an extension cord to sit on the porch and work on my computer. The pool, while basic, is well maintained, clean and enjoyable. The sea comes right up to the property edge, but I don't think I would swim here. Still, it is nice for the view. Breakfast options were very good and I recommend dining here. Very reasonable prices. The owner came over and introduced himself and chatted for a bit which is a nice personal touch. I would stay here again 100% and highly recommend their beach-front room if available.

Wonderful Resort
Incredible view/pool area. Top notch service front front desk receptionists to restaurant staff. The food at the restaurant is very good. The pool is awesome & the sunset front restaurant/pool area is breathtaking. Over an amazing resort at a very reasonable price.

Paco and his crew were so welcoming that when we left the property after 5 days I gave him a hug goodbye.. they became like family! My first time in the Philippines I came from the United States and I stayed at 5:00 or 6 four star resorts in several areas of the Philippines.. I would rate The Last Frontier Resort near the top overall in meeting my type of expectations for hospitality, food quality, location to town and activities value..Paco and his crew exceeded my expectations to provide a great experience. Thanks Last Frontier Resort... I'll be back!

Amazing experience!! Marco, Ace, Fred and all the attending staff from front office (whom were so helpful with booking everything) to restaurant staff were so top notch the ladies were all so kind although I didn't catch everyones name. We loved our stay and will probably be back. They have a great view of the sunset during happy hours and the food at the restaurant everyday was great as well. Our room was clean and bathroom worked well. They even brought balloons in for our anniversary which was so memorable.. So glad we chose to stay at Last Frontier, it made our El Nido trip superb. Cannot wait to return we had such a wonderful time

Highly recommended
You need to manage your expectations with respect to accomodations when visiting El Nido as the town is still "relatively " less touristy and developed place compared to other famous spots. Having said this, Mansion Buenavista is 10 out of 10. Beeakfast was simple yet very nice, Owner Noud and the rest of the staffs were helpful and friendly in every way that they made us feel like we were staying at a relative's place. Noud helped us arrange tours, helped with eveything during our stay and even walked us out to grab a tricycle during our check out. Hotel has a very nice view from the balcony as well as from the restaurant, is far enough to be quiet and peaceful from the town during the night yet close enough for you to walk to the town should you wish to visit the main part or the town anytime. Can't really say anything negative about the hotel. I would definitely stay at this place again.

The restaurant is a hidden gem. Amazing delicious food. Staff is super helpful. The only thing I did not like was the weather during my stay. Please check weather reports before staying. They cancel all tours on rainy days.
