The room I booked was a suite supposedly 1 King bed and 2 Twin beds, however, we ended up getting a 1 king bed and a sofa bed. When we saw the room situation, I honestly felt embarrassed to my family. I didn’t complain and just tried to enjoy our stay anyway.

We absolutely loved this resort !! Check in was great Joann was very friendly and informative. The property is very well kept and looks incredible. Many pools , waterslides, daycare, children's pool, the view from the 8th floor is breathtaking. The dinner buffet was huge and the staff was great. Or server was Nestirio Zafra. He was so good with our 3 year old giving her ice cream and other snacks. The next morning we were sad to have to checkout but we did go for the breakfast buffet and it was also very huge serving American and Filipino dishes. I will rate this hotel 5 stars !!!! And will definitely return.

Hello I recently stayed 5 nights at you resort in Mactan Cebu and was pleasantly surprised with the facilities. It has a good atmosphere, clean, well organized and the pools were clean. I can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating your staff members were, they went well and above beyond what i expected. While i was staying i visited several different tourist sites and shopping facilities including different restaurants and i have to admit that the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at your resort were somewhat disappointing, the food was generally cold and the selection was at a minimal compared to other restaurants i visited and your pricing is also almost double what it is in a good restaurant that has much more variety not to mention the food would be hot. Other that that i was very satisfied with the resort. By the way your email address info@solea.com does not work. The absolute best parts about Solea are the friendly staff and fun inflatable water park which my children enjoyed immensely. Food is very average and if you do not have the buffet breakfast included in your room, you may as well go hungry every morning because the slim offerings a la carte are way overpriced and come out cold. The buffet breakfast to purchase is about 18 USD per person!! so we had a hard time justifying this since it was nothing special. In other words, do your best to have the buffet included in your room price. The dinner buffet is better, but still very average and overpriced. The first room we were put in was on the 2nd floor next to the elevator and with a 'city view'. The elevator kept us awake most of the night followed by the rooster below our window that began crowing at 3AM. We paid an astounding 280 USD per night and so I lodged a complaint. We were moved to a similar room with ocean views but on the 7th floor which was much better for the lack of rooster noise but we were still right next to the elevator. Oh well. it was better at least. That was until we realized that we could not get water from our shower for most of the day. Not a drip. For 6 days. Then there was the rooftop lounge right above us that had the staff rearranging the furniture every night at 12:45 AM for 20 minutes. Scraping and squeaking away until we were all wide awake. I could go on. Avoid this place if you want any sleep. Go anywhere else and get a day pass for the park.

We had two reservations. One is a suite which they insisted that ONLY TWO PERSON ONLY. That room is supposed to be for 4PERSON. They asked us to pay extra. Btw, EVERYTHING IS EXTRA MONEY, NO MORE EXCITEMENT FOR THE GUESTS TO ENJOY THE HOTEL. The second room that we booked is with the balcony(clearly stated on the reservation) but the front office lady gave us different room. They gave us one without balcony and we asked to have the room we reserved. The FO said we have to have extra. SERIOUSLY? We booked with the balcony and we don’t get it. After we settle check in, we had friends that is going to drop us off, they all came with us inside the room, then FO called saying we need to charge you since there’s more people going to your rooms. This is very disrespectful!! When we were checking out they said have a seat and we’ll let you know, after 10mins no one did, we had to approach them to ask if we can have our 4,000 deposit! They said “Oh yea your room is good.” They said there going to let us know but they never did. We’ve been staying in different hotels and this one is the worst. No care about guests, they want money. Be careful. THEY WANT MONEY MORE THAN THE HAPPINESS OF THE GUESTS!

it was not good the first night we had no hot water. so they moved us to other room and we broke a glass in the move and they charged us 200 peso for the glass. the next room had no ac so we are only there three nights so we stayed in the room and were not happy. and the people at the front desk could care less
