This property is in excellent condition, is in a convenient location to dining and shopping (walking distance) and is owned and operated by a very gracious host and hostess. Also, the innkeeper prepares an excellent breakfast. When we travel through the area in the future we will stay at the Abigail Inn.

Excellent Experience! We received a warm welcome to this absolutely beautiful, historical property. It was so clean and the decor was elegant, tasteful and inviting. There were many added touches such as a bottle of wine, cookies, expresso machine and water bottles in our room. We had a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge mountains and the bed was comfortable. The best part was was our made to order breakfast in the stately dining room. The omelettes were perfection! The owners were very friendly, and we will definitely be back if we’re in the area again! We also recommend checking out the nearby Natural Bridge.

A Relaxing Inn in the Shenandoah Valley
Thierry, the innkeeper, was the consumate host. We stayed in the Marshall room and found it to be commodious, very clean, quiet, and generally delightful. We enjoyed the delicious from scratch breakfast and conversation with other guests. A visit to the Abigail Inn is like visiting friends in a fine Virginia home. The inn is close to downtown making walking to dinner and shopping convenient.
