Worst hotel in Europe
ACs in the room don’t work - it’s terribly hot. Hotel staff are unable to fix the problem. The ladies in the breakfast room don’t let you dine peacefully, they come to your table every 3 mins asking to clear the plate as if they have some target to get rid of guests as soon as possible. Vegetarians, please note there are no options besides fruits and one eggless bread. They don’t even keep hash browns or mashed potatoes or varieties of cheese - they only have eggs and some meat. On day 1, no housekeeping came in the room inspite of leaving the cleaning sign in front of the door. On the day of checkout, they completely invaded our privacy and since 8 am, entered our room 4 times without our consent and without us putting a sign to clean the room. Even a 1 star hotel wouldn’t do that and imagine a 4 star doing it. Housekeeping lady showed no sign of being sorry and continued to enter the room after just one knock and no reply from us. I can understand this if it was 12 PM but definitely not 8 am when guests are on holiday!!

Very clean, but soulless, a mess of a hotel - 3 former stand alone buildings knocked into one. It is a maze of staircases and difficult to navigate. Resident breakfast area is not the same as resident coach party guests - who seem to dominate the clientele. Be careful to chose the right breakfast room. Heating in the hotel is minimal. Very cold in the bedrooms at night. The hotel is set at 20 degrees and you can add 1 degree to this in your room. No extra bedding if you are cold. There are other hotel options in the same area. Only use this hotel as a last resort.

Our stay at hotel Astoria was very nice. The room was spacious and the bathroom had plenty of counter space for my cosmetics. I enjoyed the Nespresso in the room. The location was perfect. We could walk wherever we needed to in a short amount of time. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Too pricey for what it is.
It has a great location but it's not worth the price. It's fairly no-frills busunessy style hotel. The rooms don't have a proper wardrobe. The gym is so small it's not worth calling it a gym. The staff are friendly and ready to help with the basics. None of the associated restaurants and bar let you put your bill on the room number. It only has one lift that serves many floors and rooms. At breakfast you need to hold on to your plates the far too many syaff are so eager to clear away.
