We love the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and have stayed many times. We had some less than ideal experiences that should not happen when you pay this dollar for a room. Our coffee maker didn’t work, the lights were not in sync, one glass was dirty, and room service first brought the wrong order, then when our order arrived they had microwaved the croissants, only 1 napkin and silverware, and very average food for over $100. It’s a bit over priced for the product and service.

Privacy invaded & concerns completely dismissed
This whole stay was an experience in having my privacy invaded & my concerns dismissed. When I checked in a staff member named Bryan brought my suitcase tomy room where I saw used clothes piled on the table. I asked if I was in the right room & he went to check. When he returned he just wouldn't leave the middle of my room. I felt uncomfortable, never having had staff linger. I tipped him & repeated wanting to nap & use the bathroom. He only left when I opened my suitcase. I went out shortly after & when I returned I immediately noticed my suitcase had been looked through. I'd left a belt on top and it had been moved to the bed & my belongings had been clearly touched. I went to the front desk where the night staff (Eli & a manager) were apologetic. I said I was uncomfortable leaving knowing my belongings were rifled through & my room was entered while I was out. They said an investigation would be conducted, which I didn't want. I had a Liberty Suite & wasn't interested in an upgrade, I only wanted my concerns validated. In the morning I checked with a manager who said the staff in my room was indeed the same employee. She said he was inside 15 seconds. I said any amount of time is not right to invade guests privacy. I brought up the used clothes pile left behind, the male staff member not leaving my room. She smiled, said, "again, it was just 15 seconds', then waited for me to leave. I was shocked at it all being shrugged off & getting treated like I was the problem.
