Great stay at a great price!
Brilliant stay as always! Our second visit and we really enjoyed it. Staff so helpful and friendly. Food in the pub delicious.

Character hotel in an old west town
Very small room with literally room for a queen bed and access either side. Some leeway as New Year’s Day and the only establishment open but waited over an hour for dinner to be served (bar staff did offer us a complimentary drink) and the main bar closed at 9pm which was frustrating. The hotel had character and the staff were friendly but it appeared in need of some TLC but I guess this is reflected in the price.

Quiet, friendly and perfect stay
It was amazing! Certainly exceeded my expectations! I read all the reviews but need not have worried. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and it was so quiet! The food was excellent and served promptly despite some reviews. I would def stay here again. So much character and old world charm too. Thank you!!

Old character building was nice. Customer service very average and dinner one of the worst I have ever had. Our room on second floor with window facing back of the building and with no fan or air conditioner we had to keep the window open. Below our window seemed to be their smoking area with staff and others smoking, at times very loud and swearing. I would stay at this hotel again.

Our room had no window to outside. It had a small internal window into a landing. The room had no bin and no wardrobe. Our towells weren't replaced and our beds weren't made. We expected more for over $100 per night in a country town

Lovely old building with gorgeous staircase, and nice and warm. But: Beds too small. Breakfast poor and not healthy; no soy milk available, no fruit, no yoghurt, just terrible, cheapest instant coffee, orange juice, bread and cereal. Had to hunt down a staff member to ask for bowls then mugs. Lack of provisions ie no hand wash, shampoo etc. At least it had a common room with a kettle and microwave.

Ok for a short stay
Room is quite small, but it was ok for just a night. The hotel is a very old building that is an attraction by itself.

I liked the location and heritage of the premise. Very basic accommodation, service staff not always available, wifi weak.
