No soap in bathroom,no shelves or space to put anything in bathroom . Good air con Very very poor resturant no white wine ( it was on menu) no chips with màin course unless you paid extra they were on menue with Main course no bread or butter with soup wihich was cold The chicken was raw in the middel ,very dangerus The staff were most unhelpful

We got a terrible experience here. First we tryied to cancel one of the 3 rooms weeks before arriving because my father in law was having a lung cancer surgery but the hotel told us only Expedia could cancel. Than we asked Expedia and after many days they replied us saying the hotel didn’t alowed us to cancel. At the check-in they offered us 2 rooms recently painted with terrible smell. We asked for another room but they told us they were fully booked. So, someone (the hotel or Expedia) received twice for 3th room because we didn’t received a refund. The hotel is old and badly maintained. The pool needs renovation. I also got very sick after eating the pork schnitzel at their restaurant.

Not what we expected.
Ai-Ais offers a very clean and interesting environment. The room was clean and comfortable except for the shower which had nearly no hot water. The pools (inside and outside) were clean and warm which made our stay more acceptable. The restaurant is not up to standard. 1. It offers a very limited menu with e.g. no desert. 2. Not all laid tables had salt & pepper and servettes on it. You have to ask for it. 3. Their breakfast and Hamburger was good, but the pork schnitzel we had was overcooked and dry. 4. The one evening they had a set 3 course menu for R320-00 per person. Eventually they served us only the main course which was steak. The steak was of poor quality with a lot of fleeces. The shop offers nearly no food or take-aways which forces visitors to make use of the restaurant with it's limited menu. The gravel road to the Spa was in a terrible state.

The rooms allocated to us was in section B, above the spa as per the photo which was fairly inconvenient on arrival and departure, to move between parking lot and rooms with all your luggage as no porter services or luggage trolleys were available.
