noisy & unpleasant with proximity to other guests.
hubby and I booked what we thought was a quiet weekend away in the bush. it was that for the first day before the other guests arrived. literally the minute the other guests arrived we were bombarded with loud music we could hear through the walls (vibrating the walls) and later a massive family with half a dozen kids shouting and running around our unit like a bunch of hooligans. all this above a second cacophonous noise they called music. this was not what we had signed up for at all. i do not recommend if you you want to escape the city and enjoy nature as the city brought its chaos with it. we complained to the owners who tried to have the music turned down, and did for the unit sharing the wall with us, for that we were glad, but overall we were better off going home and forfeiting our stay. :( what a waste of our money. very disappointed.
The rooms themselves were nice enough, could be cleaner. There was an annoying puppy who kept irritating us and going through our garbage and we had been visited by several field mice in our room at night. in addition, the door is glass so we were woken up very early every morning with the light streaming in on our faces. all that we could have turned a blind eye, but the noise was for us unbearable.
