Nice place to stay for a single or a couple. The staff was great on all aspects of the stay. The view from the penthouse bar is amazing.

First trip to Boston
Nice stay. Close to Starbucks and good restaurants. Rooftop restaurant has great food and views. 15 min walk to the Wharf, South station or Faniel Market. Silver line subway is next door. I would stay there again. Room was very small but efficient. No problems with us. We only needed to sleep and shower there.

Minimalist conditions perfect for a short stay
Yotel was a different experience. I did self check-in and it was simple enough. The premium queen room I had was small, minimalist and good for one person not two. It had a safe but not a coffeemaker or small refrigerator. I had breakfast in the lobby and an 18% service charge was included sitting at the table. I enjoyed the rooftop Deck 12 for drinks but ate elsewhere. Overall the best thing about Yotel was the location at the Seaport. The staff members were friendly. It does have valet parking but expensive. There is a Trader Joe’s behind the building. The SL1 bus line Courthouse station drops you off right next to the hotel. If you want more room, you might opt for a suite but if you are in Boston for a weekend and just need a place to sleep then the size is perfect.

Would not recommend
Would not recommend. Rooms are clean but tiny. Only place to sit is on the bed. No place to put your stuff. Big TV but no good channels. Can easily hear TV in adjacent room. Took 1 hour to get towels. Was not able to call down to front desk. Room calls go to some central place in another country. It's weird. That being said, all staff were very nice. I liked the soap and lotions. All in all WAY overpriced. Would not recommend

The rooms are tiiiiiiny. Can’t swing a cat within them. Don’t stay in the room with someone else, since it’s an open plan with toilet in view of bed.

The worst room I’ve ever stayed in for that amount
What an overrated crappy hotel. The only good things about the hotel is the location and the roof top bar. I’ve seen dorm rooms that were bigger than this room. We felt like we were sleeping in a hospital. The price was way too expensive for what you get. Stay anywhere else!

Awful Customer Service!
Found the customer service awful - Yotel is a technology based hotel with zero customer service when things go wrong. Requested a late check out only to be locked out of our room during the extended part of our stay kicked in - had to have our key reset only for it not to work three times going back and forth to our room. The front desk person would just awkwardly smile at us only causing more frustration - he would even forget who we were after being at his desk not five minutes before, asking us all the same information regarding the problem we were having even though we just gave him a couple minutes previous. Finally had to ask for a manager when we got really upset, we saw the manager come out from the room where the security was watching the cameras and they were all laughing like they enjoyed the show going on - finally the manager reactivates the key, walks us to the room only for the key to not work again and he used his master key - no apologies just some excuse about the battery must be low. Then when inside we have housekeeping pounding on the door trying to come inside - they took our do not disturb off and slid it under the door. Called Valet to bring the car, disconnected 3 times. Texted them, no response - went in person and was told to wait. Asked the front desk for help and they called it in. Over 1/2 hour to get my car - no apologies from anyone
