The room was spotlessly clean with lovely new carpets and bathroom. We stayed in an executive suite which had a lovely view of the golf course. It was a very hot weekend and the window hardly opened with no air con (just a fan that did very little as the large window let a lot of heat in). If it had air con we would have been very happy. Breakfast was very nice, lots of space everywhere, and our room was quiet even when a party was going on in the front of the building. The swimming pool/sauna/steam room included in the price and a nice relaxing thing to do (just need £1 for locker and they lend you towels). Staff were all friendly.

The hotel was fine. It was clean and had everything I needed. The food was great and the staff were friendly. However, I was put in room 30 which is right next door to the fitness studio. There was dance music booming until 10pm then back on at 6:30 am. The music was so loud in the morning I could hear it while I was showering. This, along with the fire door outside my room banging all night meant I had a terrible sleep. When I booked Ithe room online, i stated I was there on business and feel strongly that I should have been put well away from the noise.

Our room itself was pretty clean, but what puts you off is that, as soon as you enter the stairwell to get to the room, the stairwell was completely filthy. You could see layers of dust on it. I had read some other reviews, and I was expecting the worst, but our rooms were really well cleaned. We stayed during a heat wave, so we found that the lack of air conditioning was a hindrance, but then they provided fans. Our room faced the carparks, and we did find quite a bit of noise. The staff are really helpful. The bathrooms were very modern, and the shower pressure was almost too strong, but that was a positive thing.

we had a terrible and good experience at this hotel. Check in was great and the following day was going well until we travelled to Cromer and returned very late. We noticed that our bags have been taken away from the room and the receptionist and the night porter (acts as security officer) looked into our eyes and told us nothing can be done because there is no way our room will not be cleaned but bags taken away. Bags containing food, fruits, nuts, vegetables and water plus the things we bought to use for a game which we completely forgot until we left the hotel to go lodge in another hotel at Norwich City Centre. The hotel is very spacious, well maintained, pizza taste well, Gym and Pools are very clean and very recommendable. we really enjoyed the gyms and the pools but the attitude from the receptionist and night porter got us wondering if they truly cared about the wellness of their clients. we felt very unsecured throughout the night until morning time pending when the hotel manager will resume her shift so she can look into the situation and also look into the CCTV to see who has gone to our room to carry our bags , pizza wooden plate without cleaning our room. The manager also told us that if our room was not cleaned, then nobody will take our bags. we were very angry and was advocating for the CCTV to be reviewed .After asking their chief housekeepers, they told us that Cleaner removed it and she has trashed it . They apologised and refunded us for 1 night.

Lovely setting

It was OK but not special. If we had been golfers, it would have probably been brilliant. The setting is lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.
