Wonderful
The Muize is simply lovely. It is approx 10 minute walk from Surfers corner overlooking the water. Our room (a standard one) was clean and airy and didn't get hot, with no need to put the aircon on. The bed big and soooo comfy. The B&B was quiet and I slept so well. But the best bit is the people. Nothing felt like too much trouble, including things like taking a shower at the end of our last day, long after we had checked out. Oh and breakfast. The full English was delicious and the daily fresh fruit was welcome. I'd definitely return.

Very good
Friendly owners, friendly dog. Hard bed.
Owners were friendly and helpful. Gave advice where to eat and even offered to collect us after dark. Good size room with lots of light, but a bit plain, and we found the bed very hard. It would have been helpful if WiFi code had been displayed somewhere. Good breakfast.

Very warm hosts. Very homely atmosphere and they make a lovely continental breakfast for you. Great value for the price and close from Simon's town, Boulder beach and Cape of Good hope. If you drive through Cape Town city, you can get there in 40 minutes from Table mountain. I ended up taking the more leisurely route through Chapman's peak drive, which took me about 2-3 hours with frequent stops. Regarding the area, I was travelling from the US and had heard a lot about safely issues in South Africa. I felt Cape Town and the surrounding area was quite chilled and unless you are really looking out for trouble, Muizenburg is a friendly neighborhood. Quick tip: Get there before 7pm or at least call the hosts and let them know that you will be arriving late. They mention that clearly on their site. The property is like a private house with a car garage. You have to get the keys to open the door to get in. So plz contact the hosts in advance and communicate when you will be there and how you can collect the keys.
