10/10 Exceptional

It felt very safe and secure. The room were cleaned often and the elevator meant there was no hiking up and down the stairs (as there were in other 5 level hostels). The entertainment was great on the 6th and 7th floors and the staff were always very helpful!

Freshers style party hostel
This was just like freshers at uni but on a more embarrassing scale. Fine if that’s what you’re after but for us the music was too loud and cheesy and the vomit outside our room when we got up one morning was horrible. The view from the bar was nice overlooking la Paz. Otherwise not really for us

The hostel was exactly as described on any search engine, when we arrive we were seen straight away and within 5 minutes straight to our room, WiFi password given before we had to ask for it. Our room was basic and the bathroom needed work, the shower head needs to be moved as it points in only one spot. Maid service everyday and had clean towels and the normal tidy of our room. Be aware that the bar is on the top of the hostel and if you are staying on the first few floors below it you will hear the music as you are trying to sleep.

Warm and friendly
Clean and simple, with a great bar, helpful staff and reliable hot showers! I moved here after staying in a dank, cold hostel and was very glad I did.

Fun hostel
Good stay, good room, fun hostel. Only downfall was room 210 which I was placed in, was in the direction of sunrise with no sunblocking blinds which heated and light up the room from 7am.

Very disappointing - go to Wild Rover instead :)
I stayed 3 nights for Christmas and was expecting a great festive atmosphere but it was rather a cold and boring place so I ended up spending my evening at Wild Rover where there was a proper party and some cool people. There is a pool table but it is so damaged that it is impossible to play. The staff is trying to get some atmosphere but I feel the commune areas are too old and not welcoming anymore so it doesn't work. The hostel is full of posters on the wall with a list of things that are forbidden to do, whereas everyone is here for that anyway. I feel the hostel need to be refurbished and re-decorated to be back in the game !
