A one night stopover.
We only had 1 night here in mid-September and due to the fact the hotel was fairly empty we got an upgrade to a room at the front of the hotel. This was a spacious room with a sort of enclosed balcony area housing 2 chairs and a tiny table (just big enough to put a couple of expresso cups on). I was told that the area is more picturesque during the winter months when they have snow and I can imagine it's a great view from your hotel window. Not sure I'd like driving up there with snow and ice on the ground though. The restaurant was pretty good for the evening meal and not too expensive. Breakfast was adequate with scrambled eggs and bacon together with the usual continental cold meats and cheeses. We didn't get time to look around much outside but there didn't seem to be much around so if exciting night life is your thing then this may not be for you. The surrounding area is quite barren and if you want to 'get away from it all' then you couldn't get much further away. The room was comfortable and all the staff we came into contact with were helpful and friendly. If we ever go back to Seia then I would be happy to rebook here based on this experience.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Homemade yogurt was wonderful. Dinner was excellent quality and reasonably priced. Very little choice in dining at night in Sabugueiro. Good location for hiking trails near Torre.

Nicest surprise ever!
I honestly did not expect to like this hotel as much as I did! Me and my family loved the rooms, the staff was lovely and helpful, the restaurant was amazing and super affordable and the spa was just the cherry on top! We're definitely coming back and I really recommend it to anyone seeking a few days to relax!

O valor não se adequa ao que o hotel oferece. Excelente quarto com muito espaço. O ponto forte é sem duvida a piscina e spa poder ficar reservada para nós, no entanto poderia ter melhor vista (muro alto que não permite vista da piscina) e a água não estava muito quente. Zonas comuns pouco acolhedoras. Pequeno almoço muito limitado para o valor. É um hotel confortável e com fácil acesso para visitar o tipo da Serra da Estrela. No entanto aproveitam-se da localização para aumentar os preços.
