Great Hotel
Nice hotel. Not luxury as advertised by any standards Location is pretty but nothing close by. Restaurant way over priced. Service great. Menu choices nice, but too many unexpected flavors combined. Just because you can add an exotic spice doesnt mean in works. Breakfast was adequate. Rooms too hot no way to stop the heat. Had to keep the windows open to help.

Had ocean view room but you would need a binocular to see it. Sauna and tubs were crowded even though we were asked to reserve a time. I expected breakfast to be great at a $700 night hotel but it was pretty average. Staff is great, hotel clean but certainly shouldn't be more than $300 a night. I was disappointed

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel compared to others we had stayed at in Iceland. The hotel room itself seemed cheap and tacky, with notes in your room not to cook food etc. We went to the hot tub, and it was filled with loud conservative Americans making racist comments. The scenery around the hotel was absolutely stunning, but I don't think the amenities and services matched anything near the price of the hotel. The restaurant and balcony were quite nice, and the service was fantastic. The staff also were very kind, albeit extremely busy the whole time. I wouldn't recommend staying here, however. In this region, I'd opt for a more budget hotel as you're not really getting 4-star hotel service here.

We had a wonderful stay but the hotel room was very hot and there was no air conditioning. Also, the TV was very small. Other than that, the bathrooms were very nice and we enjoyed the hot tubs and dinner.
