Unhappy
The hotel was incredibly overpriced. It was a motel. So many issues. Hot or cold water were observed but they were supposed to be, there was no midpoint. It was either freezing water or too hot to use. There was dry rot in the walls, the floor was uneven. The bedding did not smell fresh, with stains on the sheets. I stepped outside the door to smoke a cigarette since it was a non-smoking room and staff and staff rudely told me to not smoke in the room. I was not in the room I was outside the door. Multiple missing lightbulbs or nonworking lightbulbs.

Rooms need some extra cleaning details
The hotel can use some extra cleaning walls and doors they where dirty. The hair dryer did not work and shower curtain was dirty had water stains. The shower head was rusty. I will say the check in was easy and the beds where comfortable.

Sterling is a pretty small town and they did a nice job fixing up the old place. It isn’t fancy by any stretch of the imagination but was restful.
