    Parking Issues / Strange Airflow

Save your money and pay to park in the lot next door. There is no longer valet parking, and now I know that your vehicle probably got parked outside in the public open area anyway. Homewood charges you $20/day to park in their garage and if it’s full you end up in the lot across the street, that charges only $10/day. We did get to park in the garage on our final night, but once you check out, you cannot get back in the garage unless you walk down the street and walk in the actual garage door of course with all of your belongings. The AC worked well, but no matter what you do, it will blow right in your face all night. Free breakfast was as basic as possible, but I will blame Covid for that.

Very spacy room with kitchen & very decent on the go breakfast choices. The hotel location is close to downtown and statdiums. The river trail is just one block away so we walked along the river side which is connected to each bridge so it was easy to get to PNC stadium, the Andy Warhol museum and the Point State Park etc. And staffs were helpful so overall we're very satisfied with this hotel while staying 5 days in Pittsburgh.

    Spacious, Clean, Comfortable

You always know what you’re getting with Homewood Suites - a clean, comfortable, spacious suite. Having 2 separate rooms and extra space is important for our family and the value here is good for what you are getting. Nice kitchen area and full size fridge was nice. Entrance to parking garage/hotel wasn’t well marked and easily missed, and getting from the garage to the lobby for check-in was somewhat confusing. Beds were very comfortable. We had to leave early so couldn’t try out the breakfast; pool was closed but fitness center was open and nice for a hotel. Location was convenient - we were going to a baseball game and it was an easy commute via Uber and about a 30 minute walk back after the game.

    Parking has room for improvement.

My daughter and I came into town for a friends birthday. She hasn't seen them since they visited her in the hospital for brain cancer treatment. My daughter was exhausted and we got to the hotel around midnight, and spent a good 20 minutes trying to find parking upon arrival. We found parking on the left side of the hotel, on the street, off Smallman, with no signs saying we could or could not park there. All parking in the building was full. There was a lot but all the close parking was full and it said we needed a permit. I parked in the street parking and we walked to check in. It was not a convenient walk, and it was very dark. Upon check in, I asked if we could park in the street and we were met with absolute rudeness. She said she had no idea. I asked her where I should park. She said I would need to move my car to the lot with a pass she would give me. I asked again, if she thought I would get a ticket or towed if I stayed where I was. She literally just starred at me. I was not going to make my daughter walk back out there at midnight with me to move the car, and I also wasn't going to go out alone. She never offered or gave us a parking pass and was annoyed we were checking in that late. The room and hotel was great, everything else was fine, but if the employees aren't going to have info on the parking, then there should be signs or information on the door before going upstairs to the lobby. It didnt feel safe and wasn't convenient at all.
