Worstttttttttttt EXPERIENCE
I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My fiancé and I was just spending some alone time together since the pandemic started so we booked a room for one night. Check in was fine. The front desk employee called our room at 3:30 in the morning. My fiancé went into the lobby to see what’s going on and we were accused of smoking in the room by the front desk employee. It was so early so we decided to deal with it when we wake up fully. I woke up and noticed I was charged $150 for the smoking fee and I went to the front to dispute the charge. I spoke to employee by the name of John, he claimed he wasn’t there, but I advised him we was charged without the room bring inspected for smoke and we had a candle burning so I wasn’t sure if that was what caused the silent alarm off. So he said he would have to inspect the room before CHECK OUT smh. I had to wake my fiancé up so he could get himself together before John came in. After inspecting the room he told me he’ll refund me and just to never return to the hotel. CHECKED OUT EARLY!

Just ok
Just ok. When we got to the room our neighbors were extremely loud with music playing, there was a huge roach, takeout food still in mini fridge, used towel on shower floor. The rest of the room seemed clean though.

Meh
Great location if you want a real taste of Brooklyn, close to many restaurants and stores, and also the subway. I loved that part. The street the entrance is on is absolutely filthy. There were small things wrong that added up- dirty sink, broken soap dish in the shower, loose bathroom door handle, no bathroom privacy, etc. The heat/AC sucked, I was sweating all night and couldn't get it cooler. But the worst was this morning's shower; I travel a lot for business, and I have never, ever, ever had to take a cold shower, but I did at The Brooklyn! I doubt I'll be back.

Amazing hotel, clean, upscale and very specious. Breakfast was a little disappointing because of very limited selection.

The rooms were spacious, the bathroom was beautiful. A nice get away but watch out for the 100$ incident fee that theyll incur when you reach there

Good Stay
We stayed one night while in for a Nets game, small welcoming hotel. Check in was quick and easy the front desk staff member was very pleasant and eager to assist. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, didn’t get a chance to try out the breakfast as we left early but smelled good. Was a little nervous about the possibility of a very loud night as we were offered earplugs and noise machine at check in, however no noise to mention slept well. Very convenient if attending events at the Barclays. Would definitely stay again :)

Accessible, spacious, good-value
Staying at The Brooklyn Hotel was an enjoyable experience. I was pleasantly surprised by what first seemed an out of way location but is accessible to rail, bus, and walkable neighborhoods. The room was large and comfortable. The roof deck area provided great views and will be a fantastic amenity when complete. The main disappointment was in the breakfast and accompanying service which were both lackluster. Perhaps a happy hour would have been more appropriate.

Heater didn't work. Blankets were too flimsy to retain heat. We were on the backstreet where at 4am the trucks started to honk horns and people were screaming and fighting.
