    Ghetto Hotel

    I booked a double bed room for my moms small bridal party of 4. I called the hotel ahead of time to see if they had any bridal packages or accommodations they said no. Fast forward to my checkin date. I get there and the first thing they tell me is I have a balance to pay off. Which was incorrect I paid through, after we cleared that up. Robert at the front desk says that there are no more double bedrooms they are all booked. So I asked him what are you going to do for me because this is extremely frustrating and ridiculous. I asked for the manager there was no manager on site, there was no shift leader on site. The manager is on the phone telling Robert that I need to pay for a king room since it’s an upgrade and I don’t understand how you expect me to pay extra for a room that I didn’t even book how was four people supposed to sleep on one bed comfortably. How do you expect someone to pay more for a room they didn’t book because you don’t have the room they already paid for? Like make it make sense. On top of that they don’t even offer courtesy late check out you have to pay an extra hundred dollars for late check out. Also I was not giving any Wi-Fi name or password for my stay. Onto the king room now since it was an “ upgrade” as soon as I walked in there was tissue shoved into the the door socket I don’t know if someone was trying to make sure the door stays open I’m not sure but that’s very unsafe. The blinds were twisted, dirty and broken so they weren’t clo

    Very disappointing all around!

    This hotel had so many issues. The bathroom covered in mold was horrible. The floors filled with smoke would have been bad enough... but they set the fire alarms off twice starting at 2:30am on Sunday morning. The staff just seemed not to care about much of anything, and people constantly got on the elevator with me without masks. The night of the fire alarm the front desk guy wasn’t wearing one either. It’s in a bad neighborhood, and there are no amenities available to you.

    Not ready for prime time

    We’ve stayed here pre-pandemic and it was good. This time, our room had ants infestation and was not ready for guests. We cut our stay short. The front desk was considerate and explained the hotel was sold and renovations beginning that day. I’ll consider returning after renovations.

    The hotel does not use fitted sheets. The bathroom door was broken, there was no safety latch on the hotel room door. The fridge was not secure in the space.

    The staff was really friendly and the room clean, but neither of two expresso machines worked and the shower didn’t drain A few ants seen too, but I didn’t even mention that. Those small things are fixable and we’ll stay there again when we visit my son the next time

    When I got there, there were 4 men smoking pot in the vestibule, who were not guests. I know they weren't guests because when I went to check in, one of them followed me in to ask if he could get a room. When told there were no rooms available, he said, "c'mon man, I'm a regular". The room was clean, but smelled of pot in the entry area, vanilla scented air freshener everywhere else, which tells me they can't keep people from smoking pot in the rooms and just attempt to disguise it with air freshener. It didn't work. Last - beware the "facility fee" - which is not part of the Expedia process and is $19.95 plus taxes per night. No one ever mentioned it - not at check in, not at check out. I found it on my AMEX when I got home, called, and was told about it then. NOT cool. Over all, not a good experience. I should have believed the other reviews about the pot smell. This is a party hotel, not a hotel for business travelers needing a clean, quiet place to sleep.

    Over all the room is very nice at first glance but you’ll later see the minor problems. The sink leaks nd I think the toilet too a little bit? The vent is loose so it makes a loud noise. The blinds were damaged so they couldn’t be pulled down. The bed side lights were loose nd there were some stains here nd there also some of the furniture is wobbly. Also PAPER THIN WALLS. Could hear people talk argued nd everything from the other room no doubt heard me raw dogging my gf.
