Good to stay
The room's cozy, but clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is helpful to stay, including shoping malls, interseting local stores, parks, and 24 hour-open super market. I would stay again, if I visit Tsukuba again.

Nice hotel, but further away than stated
The app says the hotel is 2 minutes from the station, their website says so too. The main building is, but Epochal is a 10 minute walk from the station. Staff are very helpful and friendly, and the area around both buildings is great.

Nice hotel except very stale air in the room.
Overall, it was a nice stay. The location is convenient for conferences. However, the walk to the bus station is a little far. 10 minutes walk is OK under nice weather, but too much for hauling luggages in the cold rain. Taxi is a way to go, but not many were around. Non smoking room still smells smoke. The air could get stale very soon after closing windows. The bathroom was nice to have a standard washlet. Staff was very friendly. They offered shuttle services between Epochal building and the main building.
