First, there are two issues. The breakfast is not a hilite! The fruit was not the best, when asking for toast to go with eggs, we were informed that the bread was for making cloud sandwiches and the like. They provided rolls which were so so. The scrambled eggs we're good. Second, little things in house cleaning such as replacing used glasses was not done. We would need to ask. Now, the place is very nice, with a great pool area. The restaurant serves tasty meals and beer is very cheap. The staff is very friendly and help. We started off with what we thought was a nice size room, what they called the matrimonial suite. Way too small for us. They moved us to a junior suite which was much more suitable. All in all, with the exception of breakfast (which many would be o.k. with) I recommend staying here.

Beautiful property. Family friendly, few doors down from the louder bars but far away that you can escape. Comfortable beds definitely appreciated.

Excellent place
The hotel is modest, right behind of the dunes. The room and the facilities were exceptionally clean (keep in mind that sand blows all day long from the dunes) they restaurant and the stuff are fabulous too. The hotel was recommended on my travel guide and wouldn’t be more than happy to have stayed there

Buggy but to be expected in the area. Otherwise, it served its purpose.

The staff was amazing and they address always here if you need something. The view was amazing, the rooms are great but it is very expensive if you want to eat or drink at the hotel.

I believe this property could be a five star hotel with just a few minor tweaks and changes. (Please keep in mind this is Peru) Such a as ensuring that the room is as clean as it can be. Unfortunately I found a hair on one of the pillows which lowered the rating from 5 to 4 stars for me. Overall I had a great experience in the short time I was there. The staff was very helpful, patient and kind. The location was perfect and the view of the dunes didn’t hurt. Huacachina is a very small touristic town so everything is of walking distance.

Not worth the price, pool not clean, good food
The room looked much better on the pictures than in really. They forgot to put towels in our room and after requesting them, we were given pool towels and a promise to receive normal size ones in 5 minutes. Apparently, they forgot and brought us towels on the next day. They were changing the TVs in the entire hotel and ours was disconnected and even if we asked to have it working, that never happened. I requested a hairdryer and got one without a problem. The problem was that they called me in my room early in the morning, asking to have it back, resulting in waking me up way too early. There were flying insects in our room and the net on the window was very loose. I have no idea what animals we had in our beds (assuming they were not bed bugs) or in the room but after our 2-day stay, I had 50+ bites all over my body. The canal in the bathroom was blocked resulting in having a small swimming pool every time we took a shower. The pool area was nice and clean. Unfortunately, the pool itself was full of little insects and other little things making it not appealing for swimming. On a Saturday night there was a wild party in a nearby place until 6 am so sleeping was only possible with earplugs-that’s not a problem of the hotel itself but was very annoying. The food and the staff in te restaurant was absolutely great.

Facilities were clean, had an air conditioner and wifi, friendly staff, good location in Huacachina. However, lacking basics we found elsewhere in Peru (e.g. our hotel in Lima) ... only 1 roll of already unwrapped toliet paper, no wash cloths, no hair dryer, and 2 towels. The doors were very light weight with a push button lock and the safe offered was at the front desk, not in room. Best in Haucachina, but if we would have found a safe taxi, we would've stayed in downtown Ica instead.
