    Couldn’t round the corner of the hotel without smelling pot. Guest would sit outside by valet just smoking as if it was legal. Nor could you visit the pool without an intense smell, multiple like 8+ people rolling an smoking right on the layout chairs. Definitely not something I want my children to experience.

    They put me in a room where there was a huge party going on you can hear everything through the wall and the hallways were loud I didn’t get sleep at all and complained to the service desk of moving me they didn’t do that nor stopped the party going on the fridge didn’t work and less towels it being in the galleria I really thought I would get peace and quiet like other hotels but that didn’t happen

    A great place to stay!
    As this stay occurred recently, the hotel (like every hotel in America) was subject to certain restrictions and conditions related to Covid-19. I have stayed in this hotel dozens of times and ALWAYS have had nothing but excellent reviews for it, an this review is the same. The things that were lacking this go round included: onsite bar and restaurant were closed, limited staff to man the onsite Starbucks offering, limited or no housekeeping during the stay, gym had no products to allow the users to sanitize equipment. I was most bummed that the usual premium rate, remained the premium rate on Hotels.com, though the Hyatt website offered the room at a price 30.00 less.

    Cool...could have been slightly better.
    Wife and I needed a quick 1-night getaway from the kids to celebrate our anniversary. Stayed in a suite at the Hyatt Regency Galleria. The rate was fair for the room...the suite has a great layout. Valet was simple. Hotel was relatively empty (in the lobby at least) due to everything going on. Check-in was quick and easy. Issue came w/ the cleanliness of the suite. There were crumbs and cup stains on the table and on the living room floor. Many blemishes on the walls- damage, scuffs, dirt, etc...would take a maintenance person 20 minutes to touch up. Spilled drink stains on the floorboard and a couple of cigarette burns in the carpet. We reached out to the Front Desk and they sent a gentleman, Jessie, up to address the issues. He had a very service oriented and kind approach, which really helped mitigate the experience we had with the dirty room. He was great. The pool is great. The bed was comfortable, and everything else was pleasant. Would stay again if rates were similar...but if higher, probably would try elsewhere.
