I just needed a place close to the airport for one night after returning my rental car. It was in a pretty quiet area and close enough to walk to the ocean front or into town too. I think I might’ve been the only occupant that night, so I was able to have the pool all to myself after checkout. The chef was out of town, so didn’t try the food or breakfast…but do try Diego’s tacos 1 block away. Very good! Room was clean, bed very comfortable, nice older hacienda style rooms and building. Ceiling fan cooled the room but A/C also available. Good place to stay when you need to be close to airport.

I couldn't have been treated with more kindness. I was fortunate enough to, for the most part, be the sole guest just before the season begins (Nov.1). Thus, I got to know Dan, Daniel, Eduardo, and Jolie on a personal level. We are now amigos, as I've decided to stay and live in Cozumel. I've met their their families, been taken to cantinas and family-owned restaurants, and feel like I've found a center. None of this would have been possible w/o the people at Casita de Maya. I will always be grateful for the experience and the positive changes in my life.

I stayed at this guest house during my Ironman 70.3 race. It is walking distance from the airport and about one mile from the convention center. I walked to the downtown area a few times. The employees and owner are helpful in any way they can. I did have an issue with the tv because it was making a humming noise after being on for a short while, and it didn’t get resolved. I imagine it’ll be replaced in the mear future? Anyhow. They do offer laundry service, chef Daniel will prepare any meal for you at any time you wish to eat, and they’ll flag a can for you if you need one. The pool is really the only amenity there, and it’s quite nice. If you forget your mosquito repellent, they’ll kindly spray you until you get your own. Overall, if you want to be closer to the ocean or the downtown area, this may not be the place for you. But if you’re looking for a clean, peaceful place to stay, you’ll definitely enjoy your stay here.

This adorable boutique is literally right across the street from the airport, walking distance, no shuttle needed. Our flight got delayed from 6 pm until 8 am the next day and we were able to get adjoining rooms for our group of 5. They were so welcoming and even fixed my two teenage sons food at 10 at night. We are very grateful for the hospitality shown to us at a very stressful time! Rooms were clean and well kept and the pool area was super cute and would be a fun place to hang out and visit had we been their longer. The ac units worked well and we had a great nights sleep. Thanks again!
