The absolute worst check in staff - avoid.
Worst check in I’ve ever experienced. Rude behavior by check in staff. I understand when a room isn’t ready until 3pm. When we tried to check in at 1:15pm after traveling all day, I was under the impression our room would be a priority to clean. We waited 1 and 1/2 hours in the closed, empty bar area. The staff never notified housekeeping and we didn’t get our room on time. Unbelievable, when challenged the made up untrue excuses. I asked for the manager and some girl comes out (after 10 minutes), knows nothing and then tells me she’s actually not the manager. I have to wait another 10 minutes to actually speak to the manager. The next morning is even worse. I approach the front desk and am completely ignored, after several minutes I ask is anyone willing to help me? The three of them say nothing, absolutely nothing. My request for ice was a huge inconvenience and the young man (just wearing white T underwear t shirt), became agitated, aggressive and almost violent. He demanded me to follow him, I finally told him that I don’t work here, I am a guest and to please remember that, then he tried to grab the ice back, causing me to nearly fall. All the manager could say was “ I’m sorry”. Where do they train these employees? In prison is my guess. I’ve reached out to corporate offices, they never responded . Poor behavior starts at the top, and certainly trickles down.. one good employee is Nina, friendly, and kind.

It's fine.
The Adina is super well positioned (next to a shopping center with a grocery store; a 3 minute walk from a tram line stop) and the rooms are well appointed - small stovetop, regular European fridge, and an oven. The sitting areas are great and it's a very large studio space, including a very large bathroom with a washer/dryer combo. Where it didn't shine was in two areas. 1 - It was incredibly dim - there needed to be more lights in the bathroom and kitchen areas, but also in the general space. 2 - The cleanliness was lacking. There were many very dusty surfaces (i.e., you could see where the fresh towels in the bathroom had disturbed the dust). Lots of things needed scrubbing (dirt stains on the shower floor, dirty toilet, sticky handles on the kitchen pulls and appliance handles, the pan in the oven had oil and crumbs on it still). While well designed, it also was a bit dingy and in need of a little TLC - holey curtains and scuffed walls and the heater for the towels in the bathroom didn't work. And, oddly, the mirror in the bathroom got very hot - too hot to touch, and melting some of the lotions I had stood next to it. Super chic decor, too. So, a mixed bag. I'd probably stay again, but it wasn't the nicest space.

1 week stay in Frankfurt in June 2023
This is the second time staying at this apartment hotel.The apartment room is cleverly thought out maximising the space providing all the needs for a self catered holiday but also with the provision of hotel catering if desired. The rooms are spacious and comfortable providing a comfortable bed, a seating area to relax in, a kitchenette with an electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and clothes washing machine. The apartment is well situated for access to the tram network for which trams run very regularly. The apartment hotel is only a 5 minute tram ride from the central train station and central Frankfurt. There is also a decent Reve supermarket and shopping complex in the Sky Plaza a stones throw away from the Adina Apartment hotel.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It was modern, clean and it was very helpful to have a washer/dryer and full refrigerator. Regarding the location, I chose this one because of its proximity to the train station, but it is actually about .75 miles from the HBF and it is a distance from the main sights of Frankfurt. It is in the financial district and is right next to the Skyline Mall and close to the tram. So consider the location when deciding.
