Family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Really enjoyed the place. Rooms were nice and kitchenette had a nice size fridge for storing leftovers, water, and snacks. Found the double beds were a little cramped. Would've been nicer with queen-sized beds. Staff kept the place very clean. Friendly and always accomodating. Had a big rain storm so the in-door pool, game room, and restaurant kept us entertained and fed. Little higher cost but after staying at other places in Cape May felt the price was justified given what we got in return.

The location of the Grand Hotel across the street from the beach is great and the beach staff were very helpful with chairs and umbrella. Our room was very clean and spacious. Every staff member we interacted with was wonderful. My reason for a 3 star review rather than 5 star: the ice machine was not working (the weather was hot and I would have liked cold water); I received a text from the front desk that there would be a yoga class that actually never happened (although a number of us waited around hoping an instructor would show up) and our room had a musty smell (maybe that is unavoidable in a hot beach environment).

Rooms are extremely clean, very friendly staff, bartenders were great, and we really enjoyed the outdoor pool most of all. Front desk staff were extremely helpful, we even got to check in early because our room was ready. I would highly recommend the grand hotel and plan on returning!

The hotel is very good, and the pools are very clean. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you are traveling with elderly people, there is quite a long walk to get to the beach, as was the case for us. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we had a very good experience.

I would definitely go back. I liked the upscale look & feel of the rooms & property. Food for thought: They could manage the fitness room a little better, machines need some tuning up & supply necessities like disinfectant wipes, water cooler, etc. Pool towels are a bit small-2 per person would be more accommodating or invest in larger towels. A bit deceiving that the private cabana on the beach is included….it is not & is an extra hourly fee. What is included is an umbrella with 2 lounge chairs. Hope this helps ;)
