Nowhere near the center city
This hotel advertises that it's in The Hague. It's not - it is 2 km from the beach in a residential area with nothing around it - no restaurants or shops. We were on the 3rd floor - elevator ends on the second so that was an inconvenience. Room was fine - clean, comfortable beds. Shower was good except it didn't drain well and I worried about it overflowing the basin. Air conditioning worked well. They don't take Visa or Mastercard at checkout so prepay and pay the city tax in cash. I was not going to transfer money to their bank account from mine. I left my watch in the room and when we called they said they would let us know that night. WRONG. We trained it back from Leiden and rode our bikes back to the hotel. Cleaning staff was doing our room - it was under the bed. Had I not gone back they would never have found it. Cleaning staff was great but overall the service was not - we were leaving for Germany that day and couldn't wait til that evening to find out if they had my watch. I would pick another hotel next time.

I ❤ The Hague and The Best Western.
I cannot start to express my sincerest gratitude to every member of staff at the hotel. Emma is one the kindest and most generous persons that we could have met. She kindly accommodated our family to the best of her ability and performed wonders for us. I highly recommend you to stay here. A great variety of breakfasts and always fresh and clean.
