We absolutely loved it! Wished we had stayed longer. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room/ rooms were cozy and comfortable and warm. We were given a recommendation for dinner and it was a long wait (we visited in the busy season) food was delicious and the hotel gave us a discount voucher to use. The hotel is a little older but well maintained and really clean. The parking is free and close to the rooms and there is a small playground and lawn area on site. The reception had board games to borrow and our kitchen was stocked well with crockery etc. for our stay. We didn't use the laundry but there was one on site. They are more eco friendly than some of the other places we stayed. When we go back we will definitely stay there again. We recommend driving from Christchurch as the Kaikoura road is longer, windy and steeper. Such a beautiful spot to visit. We were in walking distance of the main street and thermal attraction.

Lovely little motel and service with a smile. Good value with comfy beds. Nice and quiet and less than 5 minutes flat walk from the pools. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay. Was squeaky clean, furniture new and the beds so comfortable. Short 5 walk to the hot pools and cafes. Will definitely stay again.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful owner. We had an upstairs 2 bedroom unit. Very spacious (although the bathroom was tiny). Great to have a full kitchen.
