Warning the reviews don’t seem real.

I am amazed at the blunt disparity between the reviews I saw and the experience I had. I’ve stayed at this property three times over the last three years and each time it seems it degrades further and further. This time the king size bed was equipped with just two old and minuscule pillows. There was a thin sheet and a thin blanket. No comforter. The bed seemed old and hard. No pillow top. The air conditioning unit cycled on and off all night and there was no way to open the windows as an alternative. There was exactly two towels and wash cloths... very thin and brittle as if they were donated by the owners grandmother to keep the lights on... both rooms smelled like they had been occupied by a set of old dog for a week that had been allowed to play in the field. I have to suspect that the reviews posted are made by some kind of service that posts reviews to offset the terrible product... it really should say 7.0/10. I travel often and know what a 8.5 + looks like. I don’t often don’t leave reviews but this one seems to deserve some honesty to counter what seems like a flurry of fake reviews. In an 8.5+ I expect a comforter with a pillow top, a quiet ac unit that blows all night, six plus pillows across the head of the bed, six towels, new ones, and no wet dog smell.

    Oasis in the desert

Just a nice gem in a remote part of the country. Updated rooms a plus. Fresh eggs for breakfast.

Decent hotel but a bit overpriced for area.

Decent hotel but pricey for what it is. No attempt at all to provide breakfast or coffee.

We were greeted very nicely by Anthony at the front desk. He explained all of the details very thoroughly. Our room was outfitted with 2 throw pillow-sized bed pillows which are too small and too few. A freight train passed right outside the window several times during the night. The in-room HVAC was too loud and switched on and off too often. The breakfast served was adequate with a good variety of selections.

    Always stay over Spring Break!

Love the remodeled rooms, but my mattress was not good. Big dip in the middle. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable! The lady serving breakfast was unfriendly, but I’m going to chalk it up to the early morning and Spring Break traffic. We always stay here going and coming back from the mountains. We’ve never had a bad experience.

Extremely bare bone - I seen super 8 with more things offered to guest. For two of us we got - exactly two pillows , two sets of towels ( hand and body) , extremely thin blanket with no spares . Spartan like life is great when it’s not freezing rain outside. Tv was there but at odd angle shift from bed. Ok to stay and crash for night but nothing to sing songs about. Cleaned quite well , but no protective seal on toilet for example , like in many other BWs.
