I would give this hotel two stars. It is clean and located 5 minutes away from Interlaken west train station. The room is extremely basic. No AC and no screens on the windows.

Well suited to my needs
I'm travelling around Switzerland by rail and this hotel was very convenient for me as it is situated just a few minutes from Interlaken West station.The hotel provides a transit pass, which can be used to take buses and trains in the city area. All the amenities a traveller needs are in walking distance. Service was good, staff werefriendly, breakfast was ample and there was always space available in the breakfast room.

Not bad but not that great.
Very basic for a reasonable price for the area. Super nice staff but the room was a bit shabby and the bathroom has seen better days. The hairdryer didn't work and there was a bit of a funky smell although it seemed ckean. Thin walls let through our neighbor's loud talking. The breakfast was pretty good.

Room was clean but no elevator for our room had to bring luggage using 10 stairs Carpet They did help to keep our luggage at reception after check out Breakfast was decent and service was good

Very friendly staff really helpful. Excellent breakfast good selection. Comfortable beds and a fan available if bedroom was hot. Could have done with more powdered milk for tea available.
