Underwhelming Stay
The hotel is conveniently located next to a metro station. We arrived at the hotel and there was a self-check-in computer where we were able to upgrade our bedroom. I figured why not? Amsterdam was the last city we were visiting on an extended vacation so I thought it would be nice to spend a little extra.
The room was okay. Restroom had a bathtub, a toilet, and a sink. The room had a king-size bed and the pillows were comfortable enough. The AC worked okay. Unfortunately for me, the TV was locked in hospitality mode which meant that I was unable to connect my gaming console or my laptop which is something that was a bit of a letdown. From all the hotels that I've stayed, this was the first where I encountered this problem. Sad.
The hotel has a spa at the basement which you have to pay extra. The spa is okay, there's a small pool, a gym, and some sauna areas. It was nothing spectacular and I didn't think it was worth the extra money we paid in the end.
There was a restaurant at the hotel and the food was alright. Nothing special.
Overall, this was an underwhelming stay. Next time I will probably look elsewhere. (Perhaps a place where I can actually connect my gaming console haha)
