BEWARE
I would rate our stay at 1-star if it were not for the very polite young man working the front desk. Our rooms were dirty and ridiculously dated. Stained carpets, windows without screens and draped with spider webs, rooms that smelled cf a combination of sweat and greasy pizza boxes, hair on the floor of the bathrooms, moldly grout in the tubs, bed coverlets that had to have been at least 30 years old. One of our rooms on the first floor had a broken thermostat and we had to keep the window open all night with a fan running in order to keep the room under 100 degrees. For the ridiculous price I would expect a clean room and a comfortable bed. It was a long and sleepless night and the morning could not have come soon enough.

This property had a very nice location of being right on the water with a lake view. It also had free snacks. For dislikes: our room would heat to 82 and had to be cooled by having a window open during winter. Cracks in bathroom door frame, no hot breakfast, didn’t get to use stayed pool/hot tub

I liked the kitchen snacks available 24/7. I did not like the issues with the room. Several stains on the bed. Toilet didn’t flush. Bathroom door didn’t close. Temperature of rooms was really hot. I had to open the window in the middle of winter.

Wasn't what I expected
I have wanted to stay here but in the summer, it was always booked. Now was my chance! The breakfast was a joke - you could warm up some pre-made french toast, then it was cold cereal. Coffee was okay. However - on my second day - was going to take a shower. NO WATER in the shower! They made it good at checkout with a credit however whoever cleaned the room before I got there - should have noticed there was no water coming into the shower. I left after two nights - didn't stay the third night that I had planned on - just headed home. Overall, it is an older building that is desparately in need of repairs. Picture windows leak, water stains on the walls and ceilings and the carpet needs to be cleaned. Desk staff however were very good. Ice was on the steps with traffic cones instead of getting out there and chipping it away. I don't like doing negative reviews, but perhaps it will encourage them to look at getting some things done. Not everything that needs to be done is expensive - just needs to get someone on it.

Place was great for the price and very nice they do an all day continental breakfast if u want a snack anytime. The hotel is just outdated and shows the wear and tear that goes with that. If that doesnt bother you then its a great deal.
