Deceptive and not very accommodating!
I am not a big review writer, but I was deceived and disappointed by the Knickerbocker! Traveling with my girlfriend, I reserved a suite so that I could get an hour or two of work in the mornings without disturbing her. There were many hotel options with spacious suite available. I choice the Knickerbocker based on the misleading photo's on Hotels.com. I selected the "Tribute Suite" which photo's showed as a spacious suite with large bathrooms and separate soaking tubs. When we checked in we got a single room with a tiny bathroom with a stall shower and no tub. They called the room "The Parrish Suite". Calling a room a suite does not make it a suite. I immediately went back to the front desk and spoke to the manager. He was confrontational and made me ask him over and over to look at the pictures on Hotels.com. In the end, he said he would call us the next day and put us in a larger suite, he never did..... My only other complaint is the lighting system in the room, The lights did not operate individually. They were either all on, or all off. They had High, Medium and Low settings, but not being able to shut some off put a damper on the ambiance. The rooftop bar and the bar on the 4th floor was very pleasant. We had room service breakfast on each of the three mornings we were there. The menu was limited and the food was marginal.

The hotel was perfect. Amazing location. We travelled to NYC with 2 children. The staff did everything possible to make our stay perfect. I will definitely stay here again. Don'e hesitate to book at this wonderful hotel.
